|Things Required To Draw A Rose|
To draw a rose with two buds, keep circles and ovals as your base.
|Use a pencil for this so that you can erase the base grids later.|
First, I will teach you how to draw a rose bud.
Step 1: Draw a neat oval on paper, just like the one shown below.
Step 2: From the oval’s bottom, draw a leaf on the right. Pay close attention; this has to be a little bigger.
Step 3: With the help of the same bottom, draw another overlapping leaf on the left. This reaches the same height as that of the right leaf, but the only difference is the size.
Step 4: Draw a semi-circle on the upper part of the oval. The ends of the semi-circle should touch the two leaves.
Step 5: From the left leaf, make a clear spiral inside the oval (and not the semi-circle because people often tend to make this mistake).
Step 6: Erase the base oval (which you drew in pencil) with an eraser. After filling colors and highlighting the borders with a black pen, your bud should look like this:
Step 1: To draw a simple rose, keep a circle as your outline.
Step 2: Follow the same steps that you have done for a bud but make sure to draw it in the upper part of the circle, as shown in the picture.
Step 3: Now, it is time to sketch out the petals for your rose. Draw two petals on the left and right side of the bud.
Step 4: Draw another set of petals on the top and bottom part of the bud.
Step 5: Draw bigger petals on the ones you initially drew (left and right).
Step 6: Draw bigger petals on the ones you initially drew (top and bottom).
Step 7: Erase the base circle to get a clear view of your rose. Fill it with colors and draw some leaves to fill the art.
Your complete picture of rose and buds should look like this in the end:
